VX Webworks ("we", "us") builds websites for small businesses. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have.

1. What we collect

WhereWhatWhy
Quote requestsOur quote button is an email link. It opens your own email app with a short template asking for your business name, a phone number or email, and your project details. We receive whatever you choose to send, plus your email addressTo answer you and send a quote
Website chatWhat you type into the chat box, sent only to write the reply. We don't store the conversationTo answer your questions automatically
Calls to our demo lineA recording of the call, a written transcript, a short call summary, the number you called from, the call date, time and length (kept in our phone provider's basic call log), and your email address if you choose to give itTo demonstrate our automated phone assistant and to follow up with you by email
EmailYour messages and email addressTo reply and keep a record of your project
Basic site logsIP address, browser type, and pages visited (handled by our web host when it delivers pages to you)To deliver the website

On calls, the assistant asks only for your email address. Anything else you say is still captured in the recording and transcript.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

2. Automated chat and phone assistant

Chat. The chat box on our website is automated software, not a person. What you type is sent to OpenRouter (and the AI model provider it routes to) so the assistant can write a reply. We don't store your conversation. Please do not type login details, card numbers, or health information into the chat.

Phone demo line. Our phone line is a demo line. It is answered by an AI assistant, not a person. Every call is recorded and transcribed by ElevenLabs. During the call, OpenAI's model writes the assistant's replies. After the call, Google's Gemini model reads the transcript to write a short summary and pull out details such as your email address. At the start of each call you will hear that it is a demo, that you are talking with an AI assistant, and that the call is recorded and transcribed.

The only personal information the assistant asks for is your email address. Giving it is optional. We use it only to follow up about the demo and our services. Please do not share payment details or other sensitive information on the call.

If you do not want to be recorded, hang up and email us at vxwebworks.studio@gmail.com instead. If you stay on the line after the notice, you agree to the recording and transcript.

No voice identification. We do not use your voice to identify you. We do not create voiceprints or use speaker identification. A transcript is only the text of what was said.
